Who can I call to discuss more about the supplier's offerings and discounts?

Suppliers periodically host Zoom meetings or conference calls to discuss their benefits and offerings.

What if I do not see a supplier I like to use in the Raiven Marketplace?

Contact your Raiven Sales Rep or email Marketplace@Raiven.com and let us know!

If I have multiple business locations, do they need to enroll separately into this program?

No, as long as each location is supported financially by your headquarters, all your company locations can be enrolled under your headquarters. We ask that you please list all office locations when registering and include a contact for each.

If I already have an account with a Raiven supplier, why do I need to enroll with my Avendra ID?

This gives you access to Raiven’s negotiated discounts.  Just give Raiven your existing supplier account number and we will make sure the supplier links your existing account number to our program discounts. Then when you login to Raiven Marketplace or shop on the supplier’s website, you will see our negotiated prices. The process of shopping does not change, just the pricing.

If we already have an account with the supplier do we now fall under the features/terms/conditions that Avendra has established with the supplier? Or do we still have all the same ones we had with our preexisting corporate account?

In most cases your relationship with a supplier will not change, only the pricing. You may provide your current contract and benefits to the Raiven Sales team and they will verify with each supplier the benefits you will receive under the program.

Who are the companies involved in this offering?

How does the offering work between Avendra and Raiven?

The Avendra/Raiven offering is the first of its kind in the commercial buildings and maintenance, repairs and operations space. As noted above, Avendra aggregates the spend of contractors and building owners to provide best in class contracts and prices on parts, materials and supplies to contractors. Raiven provides the technology piece, Raiven Marketplace, that makes buying simple for customers.

What financial and performance requirements are there to participate?

There is no fee for a contractor to join. It is expected that contractor members will purchase a preponderance of materials from Avendra-approved suppliers as long as the price, service, and delivery are as good or better.

What is the process for purchasing and receiving the great prices?

There is no fee for a contractor to join. It is expected that contractor members will purchase materials from contracted Avendra suppliers as long as the price, service, and delivery are as good or better.

What is the process for purchasing and receiving the best value pricing?

Contractor members participating in the Avendra/Raiven program will purchase from Avendra’s suppliers in the same manner you currently purchase. You can use Raiven Marketplace for comparison shopping and easy ordering or make purchases via phone, email, fax or at the supplier’s branch location.

How do I pay my invoices?

There is no change to your current invoicing process. You will be invoiced by the suppliers and make payments to suppliers as you currently do.

Why do I need to fill out a Universal Credit Application if I already have an account set up with participating suppliers?

All of the participating suppliers have agreed to use the Universal Credit Application, so we can streamline setup with additional suppliers. By filling out the Universal Credit Application once, your company will have accounts established with all the suppliers in the program and you will be added to new suppliers added to the marketplace.

Is there an exclusive territory or limitation on the number of contractors who can join?

The territory includes the continental US. There is no limit to the number of contractors who are able to join as long as all contractors enroll via the sponsored microsite. By continuing to grow our contractor membership, we will have more leverage to negotiate even deeper discounts in the future.

How large is the Raiven/Avendra in purchasing power?

As of early 2019, the Raiven/Avendra offering has more than $550 million in maintenance, repairs and operations (MRO) purchases by building owners and building engineers. We are now opening up memberships to small and medium sized Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing contractors. Our smaller members also receive the same pricing and terms as our largest members.

FedEx Specific Questions

Are all of our shipments now exclusively Avendra/FedEx or can we opt out of Avendra and use our regular preexisting corporate account for specific shipments? Can we ‘undo’ this if we decide we do not like it?

You can always ‘undo’ something in the program. Raiven can also do a pricing comparison for you prior to connecting your FedEx shipping to the program. This comparison provides you the opportunity to review pricing and opt in or out as you desire. To request a price comparison, simply supply Raiven with a few months of your shipping invoices. Raiven can have a price comparison done so you can see the discounts up front prior to enrolling. Remember, the process of shipping does not change, just the pricing.

What does registering our Avendra ID with our existing FedEx account do?

Whether you create a new FedEx account or Register an existing account, that account number is then tied to the Raiven Marketplace discounts. Then when you login to FedEx to ship something, your account number is tied to the discounts and are seen when you request a shipment. The process of shipping does not change, just the pricing.

What changes with FedEx once we sign up? Our company has many individual FedEx logins for users in our different offices. Does every individual need to enter the Avendra ID number or can it be done once at the corporate account level?

If all the logins are tied to the same account code, then you only need to register that account code once in the program. If you have multiple account codes, send the list of your account codes and we will have FedEx change your pricing to our negotiated discounts. This way you don’t need to do them all manually.
