DESCRIPTION

As a Catalog Manager specializing in electrification products, you'll be responsible for meticulously curating and maintaining our eCommerce store's product catalog, focusing on electrical components, devices, and systems. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, your role involves ensuring the accuracy, comprehensiveness, and effective categorization of product listings. Your expertise and attention to detail will empower Electrical and HVAC contractors to make informed purchasing decisions, enhancing their overall shopping experience and contributing to the success of our electrification products store at Raiven, Inc.

This is a full-time position reporting to the VP of Product, and you can be located anywhere in the US.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

1.    Catalog Creation:
•    Collaborate with product managers and technical experts to create new catalog entries for newly introduced electrification products.
•    Gather and organize product information, including technical specifications. 
•    Ensure that newly created catalog entries align with established guidelines and industry standards.
2.    Catalog Maintenance:
•    Regularly update and maintain the catalog for electrification products across multiple stories to ensure it reflects the latest offerings and product information.
•    Verify product details, pricing, specifications, and images for accuracy and consistency.
•    Work with a graphic designer to curate images.
3.    Technical Specifications:
•    Ensure that technical specifications and data sheets for electrification products are complete, accurate, and up to date.
•    Work with technical teams to gather and update product information.
4.    Product Categorization:
•    Organize electrification products logically within the catalog, ensuring easy navigation and categorization.
•    Develop and manage product hierarchies, taxonomies, and attribute structures.
5.    Quality Assurance:
•    Conduct quality checks for both existing and newly created product listings to ensure accuracy and completeness.
•    Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to address any discrepancies or issues.
6.    Cross-Functional Collaboration:
•    Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, engineering, teams to coordinate catalog updates, and product launches.
•    Work with designers to create visually appealing and informative product listings.
7.    Customer Experience Enhancement:
•    Ensure that the catalog enhances the customer experience by providing clear, detailed, and engaging content.
•    Gather feedback from customers and end-users to continually improve catalog usability.
8.    Reporting and Analytics:
•    Generate and analyze catalog performance reports, including sales trends, conversion rates, and customer engagement metrics.
•    Use data-driven insights to make informed catalog improvement recommendations.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, business, or a related field.
  • Catalog Management Experience: Proven experience in catalog management within Shopify, with a particular focus on electrification products.
  • Data Tools Proficiency: Familiarity with tools for efficient data import and export across multiple stores.
  • Content Management Knowledge: Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and Product Information Management (PIM) tools.
  • Technical Acumen: Strong technical knowledge of electrification products and their applications.
  • Detail-Oriented: Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate and up-to-date catalogs.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
  •  Analytical Mindset: An analytical mindset with the ability to work with data and analytics tools.
