Data Engineer
OVERVIEW
As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines within the Azure ecosystem. You will ensure data is transformed, loaded, and available for both internal and customer-facing analysis through tools like Power BI. The role also requires hands-on data analysis and the creation of Power BI reports to help drive insights and business decisions. You will work closely with stakeholders across the company to support their data needs and ensure data integrity, scalability, and reliability.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, build, and maintain the overall data architecture and data warehouse, ensuring scalability and efficiency across various data workflows.
- Develop and manage end-to-end ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and other Azure services to ingest and process data from multiple sources:
- Supplier files
- Core application data
- HubSpot marketing insights
- Analytics and behavioral metrics
- Ensure data integration across platforms by mapping and aligning disparate data formats into a unified model.
- Create, publish, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to provide real-time, actionable insights to business users.
- Perform detailed data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities, enabling better business decision-making.
- Work closely with stakeholders across Product, Sales, Marketing, and Ops to gather requirements and translate them into technical data solutions.
- Implement and enforce data governance policies, ensuring compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy standards.
- Optimize data pipelines for performance, reliability, and scalability, proactively monitoring and troubleshooting issues.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all pipelines, data models, reports, and processes.
- Leverage tools such as Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager, and Microsoft Clarity to generate user behavior insights.
- Collaborate with teams to embed key analytics into user-facing applications, enhancing visibility and driving smarter interactions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure technologies and best practices, applying them to continuously improve the data ecosystem.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a related role.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal requirements.
- Proven experience with Azure Data Factory, Power BI, and Azure data services.
- Strong background in data engineering and architecture, including experience designing scalable data warehouses.
- Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and ETL design patterns.
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations and implementing secure data practices.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or Scala for data manipulation.
- Experience working with Google Analytics (GA4), Tag Manager, and user behavior analytics to
