Manoj Puthenveetil is an accomplished Executive Leader in Software Development and Software Product Management. He has over 20 years of experience working with Fortune 500 global companies. Most recently, as the Vice President of Engineering at ABM, he led the software development team for the product that became Raiven, and provided oversight for its continued development and pilot deployments.

Mr. Puthenveetil is an Engineering graduate from National Institute of Technology in India. After graduation Mr. Puthenveetil began his career as a Software Engineer, working for several world-class software engineering teams. His experience as a Software Engineer includes building software modules for MAS90, an industry leading accounting software, and Relsys Drug, Safety & Risk Management software suite (acquired by Oracle in 2009).

In early 2000, Mr. Puthenveetil joined FileNet Corporation and shifted his focus from building software products to implementing them to address specific customer problems. As an Enterprise Software Consultant, Mr. Puthenveetil helped deliver over 19 different custom solutions to global companies, including Wells Fargo, Bank of America, American Airlines, Boeing, Schlumberger, Exxon Mobile, and AT&T. He has received multiple awards and recognitions on the successful completion of those projects.

In 2005, Mr. Puthenveetil’s success in deploying software solutions landed him a leadership role in Product Management for shaping the vision, direction, and profitability of FileNet’s market leading Business Process Management product line. As the Product Management leader, he helped lay the foundations for FileNet’s Advanced Case Management platform.

After IBM acquired FileNet, Mr. Puthenveetil served in several leadership roles in Software Engineering, Product Management, and Strategy domains. In 2010, IBM leadership tasked Mr. Puthenveetil to lead a key growth initiative in Banking and Payments domain. Under his leadership, a new Financial Transaction Management platform was released in less than a year. By 2014, the platform was deployed as the payments hub at several of the top tier global financial institutions, including Scotia Bank, Lloyds Bank, and Royal Bank of Canada. Additionally, the Banking and Payments initiative is now an integral part of IBM’s growth strategy for the Smarter Commerce business.

Mr. Puthenveetil is a firm believer in customer-centric design, agile development methodology, and blue ocean strategy. He is also a member of various Product Management and Engineering organizations.
